Horse Race
Five horses, one winner · Provably fair
Five horses line up at the gate and race down the track. Tap the lane of the one you think will win (or press 1 to 5) and place your bet: if your horse is first past the post, you are paid your bet times 4.4.
Everyone watches the same race: bets open for a few seconds before each start, and the track shows how many players back each horse. Every horse has the same 1 in 5 chance, so the race is down to luck and the pace: a horse can burst ahead, fall back and come again, and a close finish slows down for the photo. Auto backs the same horse race after race (or a random one each race), with a stop at a profit or a loss.
Each race is drawn from a house seed whose SHA-256 hash is shown before bets open, and revealed when the race is run, so anyone can check it. See the Provably fair page.
